The Awards Ceremony is for MCJROTC Cadet who excels. It recognizes high levels of performance, excellence, and achievement. Because the MCJROTC program recognizes that not all Cadets have the same abilities and skills, the Marines designed its awards program to recognize as many personal traits as possible in Cadets. The Marines rewards Cadets for extracurricular activities, excellence in competition, contributions to unit goals, and outstanding service. Also, you may receive national recognition from patriotic and civic organizations for outstanding academic and military achievements. To achieve any of these awards, however, you must prepare yourself for success.
